Kingston- The Average Citizen
Kingston offers many things to many people. However, the life of its own people is not easy, due to the suffering economy. The daily life of a Jamaican citizen starts like any American's waking up and eating. Instead of eating a huge hearty breakfast, one might go for a local fruit or small supplement to their day. They walk or take the bus to where they work. Buses are overcrowded in Jamaica, the "ductors" try to squeeze as many people as the can onto one bus, and a person spends a lot of time rubbing up against their sweaty companions. Many sell their home grown fruits, crops, of hand made crafts on the streets. A few work in office buildings and government offices. A Kingston resident works all day and usually for a low wage, and goes home to do it all over again. Be careful in Jamaica, many people there will charge you money after they force you to listen to what they have to say.
